The Institute for Genome Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland is hosting a 4.5-day workshop that will provide detailed instruction in the areas of genome sequencing, annotation, and analysis.
The course is designed to be modular in nature so that attendees can choose to attend only the portions of the workshop that they are interested in.
To cover the expenses associated with the workshop we will be charging a registration fee of $275.00. Continental breakfast and lunch will be included with the workshop on Tuesday-Friday.
Registrants from within the United States may pay by check or credit card. Registrants from outside the States must pay by credit card only.
In order to reserve a slot in the workshop please fill out the online reservation form. To complete your registration you must provide payment information on the official registration form. This form may be mailed, faxed, or emailed. You will receive a verification email once we receive payment information and your registration is finalized.

The course will be held on the University of Maryland Baltimore campus in the BioParkII building at 801 W. Baltimore St. Baltimore, MD 21201. The workshop will be in the "Invent and Advance" conference room on the first floor to the right of the front desk.
Check-in for the workshop will be from 1:00PM-1:30PM on Monday. The workshop will run from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM on Monday, and then from 9:00AM to 5:00PM each day for the rest of the week. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided Tuesday through Friday. A computer will be provided for your use during the workshop.

Parking is available for $9.00 per day in a garage at the corner of W. Baltimore and Poppleton, this is about 1 block from our building.
The closest airport is Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Other airports in the region (1 - 1.5 hours away) are Dulles and Reagan National.
Baltimore is served by Amtrak and MARC train service.
